Johnnydillinger
Action: Half-Life 1 (aight HL2 too, but not the episodes), Prince of Persia Sands Trilogy, some GTAs from earlier than GTA4, Beyond good and Evil, JK series, Prey, System Shock 1-2 (a bit RPG too), LEGO Star Wars games, Bloodrayne 1-2, Advent Rising, Max Payne, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Call of Duty and United Offensive, Postal 1 and 2, PJ's King Kong, every Hitman game, and the whole Tomb Raider series (maybe except for the Angel of Darkness, but even that was pretty decent). Racing/vehicular combat/etc: Carmageddon series (PC versions only, the rest can rot), NFS games in general (yup, they're really good), FlatOut. RPG: FF8, Anachronox (kicks ass), KOTOR 1 and 2, Jade Empire, maybe a bit Neverwinter Nights too. RTS: Red Alert 2 and Yuris Revenge, Homeworld 1 and Cataclysm (so far), Rise of Nations. Adventure: Syberia (only the first), Sanitarium. Weird shit: Giants: Citizen Kabuto, American McGee's Alice, Psychonauts. Horror: Silent Hill games, RE 2 and 4. Aaaaaand that's pretty much all i can recall now.

Cmdr. Zap
Heh, Dark, our lists seem to be remarkably similar. By genre and then roughly by preference: RPG:Mass Effect 1 and 2 (Finally got around to playing these just lately, they're to blame for my inactivity around here recently)Knights of the Old RepublicMount & Blade and Mount & Blade WarbandStar Trek: 25th Anniversary and Star Trek: Judgment DayDragon AgeSid Mier's Pirates! (2004 remake)Deus ExKnights of the Old Republic 2 (Not as good as one, but still pretty darn good until the shitty ending) FPS/Action:Dark Forces seriesStar Trek: Elite Force 1 and 2Star Wars Battlefront 2Call of Duty 1 and 2 (haven't played the newer ones, still waiting for the price to drop more)Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Simulation:Silent Hunter III and IVIL-2 Sturmovik (I can't spell that, and I'm too damn lazy to look it up.) 1946 collectionStar Trek: Bridge CommanderStar Wars X-Wing seriesMS Flight Simulator 2004 and XSpore with Galactic Adventures expansion (Really hard to say what genre this goes in, might as well put it here)Caesar III and IVImmortal Cities: Children of the NileSimCity 3000 and 4The Sims 1 and 2 (I spent WAY too much money on 2 to move on to 3 just yet) Adventure:Monkey Island seriesSpace Quest series Strategy (My personal favorite genre):Total War (I simply love them all completely and utterly. Asking me which one I like more is like asking someone which of their children they like more.)Rise of Nations: Thrones and PatriotsCivilization seriesTropico 1 and 3 (2 was lame)Railroad Tycoon 2 Platinum EditionCivil War Generals 2Age of Empires 1 2 and 3Star Trek: Armada 1 and 2Star Wars: Empire At War ( I have Forces of Corruption, but I still prefer the Imps vs. Rebs only dynamic of the original)Take Command: Second Manassas and Scourge of War: Gettysburg (List may be edited if and when I think of more)

friedmetroid
Well most of my favorites are 16 bit console games. As far as PC games there's the whole Dark Forces/JK series, Oblivion, Team Fortress 2 (ORIGINAL before any of the stupid class updates), Half Life 1, Dawn of War series. Knights of the Old Republic, and Halo. As far as consoles my favorites include the entire Metroid series (big shocker I know), the whole 16 bit Sonic the Hedgehog series, and Castlevania 4 and SOTN. Theos Sairin
Borderlands has pretty much stolen most my time nowadays. Other than college. And seeing mates. And work. And gym.
