Peanut Posted April 24, 2010 Report Share Posted April 24, 2010 yeah i found out that in euro we say Island and you guys call it Iceland Thats because when the danish vikings, discovered Iceland (Oh yes they did) it was in the winter, so it was filled with ice.Also, because Greenland is called Greenland... is because some months later they sailed from Iceland, to Greenland in the summer, so the ice on Greenland was melted at the coast, showing lots of grass and flowers etc...
