Asulynn
http://www.joystiq.c...rderlands-goty/ "2K Games has announced that buying the Borderlands "Game of the Year Edition" will grant you entry into what it's calling the "Duke Nukem Forever Early Access Club." In other words, the Borderlands re-release -- which bundles together the original, Gearbox-developed "role-playing shooter" and all its DLC -- comes with a code to download the DNF demo (plus other, undefined "goodies")." While it does specify that it's for the GOTY edition "Re-release" of Borderlands, if you already own the original BL for Steam (Dunno with anything else), then you already have a key. Assuming you do have it for Steam, just right click on it from the Steam games list and view the CD key(s). You can then register it, http://www.dukenukem...ccess#?age_gate hurrr. http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/9781/83446011.png :faec:

Asulynn
Wait...is this the game that they worked on for 10+ years....and it still hasnt been released....but they are saying thats its going to be released....like the have been for the past 10+ years? Well, all those 10+ years of development was due to such a small and bankrupt development team (3D Realms) not being able to keep up with the times. They scrapped and redid it from scratch quite a few times so that they could update the engine and keep it in line with current generation stuff. Their publishers, Take-Two, got fed up with it, acquired assets for it and handed it over to Gearbox. On the 3rd September 2010, Take-Two announced that development of Duke Nukem Forever had been shifted over to Gearbox Software, effectively ending 3D Realms' association with the game after 12 years of stunted development. 3D Realms will remain a co-developer on Duke Nukem Forever, due to their involvement in developing most of the game. However, the rights and intellectual property have been sold to Gearbox, who are now the owners of the Duke Nukem franchise.[/Quote] From Wiki -- Gearbox being a stable company has it set for a 2011 release. SESSH
I read somewhere on G4's forums that it was scrapped. Unless this was another transfer to another developer who will not be able to deliver. I am sick of hearing of a release and not getting it.
