Theos Sairin Posted August 25, 2010 Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 Well this is a song I've been making for our resident ruskie Semi De Lino... who hopefully will be back for good soon.He requested this over two months ago... but when he disappeared soon after I then stopped the project, then he came back (kind of) and I started it again... then I hated the song so I completely did a fresh overhaul, new everything... and then yesterday I decided to at least get to something reasonable I can show ya guys... Bear in mind, it's completely work in progress at the moment, the structure might (and probably will) change, there's a lot of bad cutoff's in certain sounds (namely that full orchestra... the names implies I should probably have gone and fixed that but i'll do it later =P) and where almost all the notes are stacatto I obviously haven't gotten around to filling the sound out... no bass parts yet either, not mixed, no effects, no... anything really. But you can at least see where it's going =P it's meant to be short like this because it's designed to play like a video game battle song... so on a loop. Feedback is welcome, of course, no idea's a bad idea... unless I don't use it, in which case it's probably a bad idea... =P Now I've explained that, you can listen to the song HERE. Enjoy! Theos Sairin Posted August 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 Reason 4 atm, though I'm gonna put it into FL Studio 9 cos I'm downloading some wicked orchestra packs, and assuming they work then I'm gonna be using them instead of the crappy orchestra sounds I'm using at the moment... And on top I can mix it properly, proper effects and stuff, probably change the drum loop, and yeah... give it a work over so it sounds massive... You just can't do that with Reason unless you get Recycle as well -.- If I was properly doing this 100% for awesomeness goldness, I would record the guitar live and properly go and mix and analyze all the EQ, fill it out etc. but that's long and I'm lazy =P Thanks wook =P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Theos Sairin Posted August 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 Well one of them is 14.2Gb, the other is 17.4Gb, and I've finished downloading the 14.2Gb one (East West Quantum Leap Sound Orchestra Gold) but now I'm trying to find a working keygen, else I can't use it anyway -.- so I'll PM ya a link to that if I find a working keygen and then you can download both easily... The other one is called ProjectSam Symphobia, it's at 92.6% downloaded atm (taking a while as you can tell...) so if that works I'll give ya a shout same way... Yeah, EWQL has some pretty amazing sounds, I really should get to downloading that shit, it's just really hard to find one with good seeders to be honest, EWQLSO only peaked at 900kb/sec while downloading it, the elapsed time was 1 week 2 days (frustrating) what EWQL were you downloading? im tempted to get the east west choir packs as well, they sound awesome =D if i were rich I would have bought everything by them by now. in fact i would probably buy every soundbank in the whole world if i could...
