Methos Posted June 18, 2010 Report Share Posted June 18, 2010 i resent that remark.... i like twilight & i have a brain. now i will say that while i own the books & movies. i do not have EVERYTHING twilight, just a keychain that was a gift from my kids. i don't run out & pick up magazines just cuz twilight's mentioned. lastly, i do no read reviews because twilight is not for everybody PERIOD. the books were great, it's the movies that blow my mind with how much creative license stephanie meyer allowed to be taken with her books. Theos Sairin Posted June 18, 2010 Report Share Posted June 18, 2010 dont get me wrong methos, i personally hate the films, and i have read all the books, and i would never read them again but i will admit i dont hate the books... i dont hate everyone who likes twilight, or even loves it... its people like in this video, who seem to think that somehow just because they think something is the most amazing thing ever everyone else should... i hate the closemindedness of some people, that they could be so hypocritical with things like films and books... and it seems to be these 16 year old girl types who do it. so i dont hate every girl who likes twilight either in fact hate is a strong word for any of this....... so i will make it clearer, just so my words arent taken with confusion as they usually are XD i hate twilight. i hate the films because of the crap acting, the amount of blue tint, the cast themselves... but most of all i hate what it represents in our culture... that people could become so obsessed with something like this makes me sick... and yes we've seen it with harry potter too, but whats worse is this is a love story... which sorry, but my personality makes me hate it more, its just my opinion, as is all of this. i DISLIKE the obsessed fans, the ones to the point they either believe its all real... not just with twilight, i'll admit, its just always been a pet peave of mine that people genuinely believe a film frame for frame has happened... i just cant stand it. then they live theyre life believing the actor is that person, that one day they can be swooped off their feet... which i know is the POINT of twilight, to MAKE girls want a man like this... but as im not a girl i hate the whole concept... i believe in what life throws at you. now when i say i dislike the fans, its purely for twilight, or love stories similar (twilight seems to have the biggest impact though... so is why i hate it so much) i HATE people who believe that their opinion matters so much that absolutely everyone else in the worlds opinions must be wrong. ive known so many people like this in my life that i hate it. it leads to nasty personalities, and i usually hate what these people become... this is not narrowed to twilight in the slightest, but to this video... and is in fact the entire reason im raging in the first place. so i say all this as an OPINION. i like the books for the story. i hate the rest from the books and film. i dont dislike anyone for liking or loving twilight, and obsession annoys me but i dont dislike it as such... believing it word for word, frame for frame i dislike. i hope nothing i say gets taken the wrong way here, cos bear in mind, this is a RAGE post right now.... so anger is my point i like a lot of things too =D just nothing this video has said =D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Whenever you go to IMDB for example, to rate a movie you've just seen or remembered back, you'll find topics that say 'OMFG BEST MOVIE EVER' or 'OMFG WORST MOVIE EVER' and there's a flamewar on these all the fucking time. Wise people dont pay attention to these, but when this retarded mob spoils the fun of having a legit list of 250 movies that people might love the most (example: the 'let's vote down the godfather just because the dark knight is leet' event and all those 'LETS MAKE THIS MOVIE INTO TOP 250' movements), i prefer having a dictatorship.
