Who: The first 8 people who reply to this thread stating they want in. But even if the 8's are filled you may still get a shot at being a replacement due to 'shit happens' to people that come up at the very last minute, so don't hesitate to sign up if you still want to compete.

What: Single Sabers ONLY. Participants will duel to 2 in the beginning brackets, then to 4 in the following brackets and then to 6 in the final brackets. Listen and take all directions from the referee.

That's partly my doing. I felt that the original proposed time wasn't really centralized for the US, as the majority of JP traffic are in US time zones. So I figured centralizing it was a higher win-win for the tourney. All the contestants that are going to be competing have been contacted and will be sent another PM from me as a friendly reminder 3 days prior to the day of event. So it's all been covered, Mr Theos, all you have to do now is just enjoy the ride.

 

Oh btw, now that the brackets are up you can all spam away at this topic kekekekeke! Let's see some bets on who thinks who will make it past the first brackets, then the second and then the final.

 

As a final request, I ask that all contestants please refrain from dueling each other. Excluding those drama shows like 'The Ultimate Fighter', boxers and MMA fighters don't spar/train with their opponents, at least not until after the actual event so...let's use that same concept, as a favor to me. Thanks, and I wish all duelists good luck and good game!

heh well that explains everything =D

if i had known it was later i wudda been a defo =\ ah well... im still back up =) and i'll just enjoy the show.

 

out of the brackets... my estimation is as follows

duke vs sonic = sonic (based on that i havent dueled duke, so dont know)

wook vs semi = semi... kinda hard to judge that one, and they are pretty evenly matched... just a guess really.

nubskie vs saber master = nub. unless saber master actually lands the lunges he always does, its a given.

sharp vs memph = memph, based on i dont know what sharp is like

 

sonic vs semi = sonic. i find sonics style will probably overpower semi's style, or wooks for that matter.

nub vs memph = nub. again, pretty evenly matched, but nub seems to have the edge in my opinion.

 

sonic vs nub = ??? who knows. if i had to guess, i wud say sonic. but i could be wrong.
