This is the first year (1971) of the intrepid "Super Beetle" model. It's got a 1.6L Dual Port almost all original "sport" engine. It smokes other bugs for the most part, man! And I'm still in the process of tuning it up juuuust right so it'll perform at it's peak. I still need to do a valve adjustment and I'd also like to run a compression test.
