Fasttea
Map modding is a can of worms that's not to be opened by the faint of heart. It'll take time, patience, and a ton of determination, you'll find tutorials for it over at JK3Files If you're still interested, I suggest starting here: http://jediknight3.filefront.com/info/Tutorials

Kable
I'm finding it very hard to find tutorials that deal with making alterations to already created maps, similar to how JP's maps are, rather im seeing tutorials and such surrounded around making brand new levels & maps. Kable
After reading this I'm more shocked then anything.. it appears that were editing maps with a Text Editor.. crazy.
KnightFire
Yeah it's pretty weird at first. I mean you're not really editing the maps, per se. Basically it's considered entity hacking. You're taking what the base maps already have and modifying some parts of them (the entities) so that people can connect without downloading the maps. The reason it works is because people have already installed the game's files in order to play JA to begin with, so anything you add that's within the game already can be used. Theos Sairin
I've seen a few servers that although it's mp/ffa3, they have other maps IN the map. Makes me curious
Od!uM
Theos, we have a map just like that, but due to FPS issues we don't use it. and I'm not sure if it got transferred to the new server.
Kable
Yeah, you can do alot with the information Knightfire provided. Imagination is nearly the only limitation given the obvious limitations. Clans like SchoolofWar have really shown off the possibilities.
