Fasttea
If you'll provide a link to one of the downloads, I'll try to figure out what you'll need to change to make it work.

Fasttea
EDIT: Nvm, it was all of the sounds that weren't working, and I've found the problem. You need to open the .pk3 file with Pakscape (if you don't have it, it ought to be on FileFront somewhere). Then, navigate through: models -> players -> dksxomox and find the file entitled "sounds.cfg" Drag this file from Pakscape onto your desktop. Then, open it with Wordpad or Notepad. There will be two lines of text; edit the top line so that it only says: dksxomox Save this file on your desktop, then close it. Drag-and-drop the new file back into the Pakscape window where you found it, replacing the old file. Now make sure you save the .pk3, with the "save" icon on the top of Pakscape before you close it. Presto, all of the sounds should now work. Basically, it was referring the sound to a string that didn't exist; they packed JK3 in a more streamline manner than JK2 by the look of it.
