Reptar
Last night I spilled soda all over the bottom right section of my keyboard, making the space bar, comma key, period key, slash key, Fn key, ctrl key, alt key and shift key very difficult to push down. What do I do about this? Is there a way to clean under the keys without damaging the keyboard? This is a laptop, btw. Thanks.
Theos Sairin
I'm not sure what the best thing is to use to clean it, but it'll involved removing the keys first. Your best bet will be asking at a local electronics store or google it.
Zan
If i recall correctly the laptop keyboard is like this http://www.laptopbattery-usa.com/images/ToshibaA10.jpg So you cannot remove individual keys. Your best bet is to buy a new one
Theos Sairin
Bull. My "r" key fell off today, I simply re-attached it. Thus proving keys can be removed and re-attached.

Sharp
You should be able to pop it out as in the post above with the picture, the keyboard has that metal plate under it, and it's connected with a single IDE "looking" cable.

X-Ray
well you've already poured coke all over it so may as well give it another drink. Exactly it's like...... Gettin' a dog de-sexed BUT before you do it, you let it fuck some dog, and blow. Just like this you must give your Laptop another drink! And water won't make it sticky, it's good for your health, not quite sure about the laptop's health, but.... good for you =D

Pengu
If you resort to buying a new one, try sticking the old on in the dishwasher first. Keyboards are surprisingly resilient to dishwashers, and only sometimes break horribly.
Reptar
Well only the spacebar, comma, period, and slash keys are giving me noticeable trouble. Would keyboard cleaner (That spray shit in the aerosol can) help?
X-Ray
There's these things called 'Laser Wipes' or something, not sure..... buut, they're used for LCD Screens and all that, I think they'd work, all you gotta do is flick the buttons up and wipe it all, if that doesn't work.... do that aerosol can thing. So'lide
Just pop the problematic keyboard keys out ( ), clean the sticky stuff underneath with slightly damp cloth and put the key back on ( ) and voilá.
