charizardrules
Help! I had to uninstall and reinstall JA and whenever I get to 2% it says: Component: Game1File Group: Game 1 FilesFile: E:\GameData\GameData\base\assets0.pk3Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check). What does this mean and how do I fix it?
Semi
Maybe something with ISO file. Download another version of JA. I think thats simplier way.

Wookjedi
Semi basically said: 1. Lol you have a disk?2. Fuck the disk3. Torrent it. 4. Download again / different version.
Dancer
If your computer makes a grinding sound around 2%, then that could indicate that your computer is trying cycle the disk around to reread the data. And if this happens a few times unsuccessfully, then the result is usually a cyclic redundancy check. Your computer cannot read the disk; your disk is probably scratched; try cleaning the disk and reinstalling.
Zan
Actually this isn't limited to optical drives only, CRC is an error-checking method for files. Simply put its a sum that must be replicated correctly, if not the machine thinks data was tampered with. So yeah, you're fubar. Torrent it.
