TheFredz
actually My G.rosea is rather small about 4 inches. I wouldn't mind having him on me. This specie is usually very docile and considered handable in the hobby. Mine is very shy at the moment he would most likely retreat to his hide if I tried to pick him up. Also Tarantulas are very delicate and can be easily harmed when handling it. Most tarantula are terrestrial creatures and even a small fall can cause grave injury. Tarantula blood does no coagulate so if it have a open wound he will most likely bleed to death unless you stop the bleeding yourself with corn starch or even superglue. My Tarantula is most likely about to molt so its prolly why its been so shy lately. http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/5841/ps1s.jpg http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/1374/49080311.png http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/846/img2278ng.jpg http://img828.imageshack.us/img828/7057/img2287s.jpg

TheFredz
Artax my G.rosea finally molted into a mature male a couple of nights ago. He grew about 1.5" so he is about 6.5inches now and changed color quite a bit. Being a mature male means he is ready to breed but also that he only have about 8-12 months left to live tho so I might try to find him a date before he pass away. http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/5721/artax1.png http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/6812/artax2.png
