GiantYoda
Well the copy of Windows 7 my uncle gave me didn't come with a product key or any sort of generator. I've tried looking up activators and loaders but none of them work. Does anyone know a way around activating Windows 7 or do I have to cough up 200 bucks to get Home Premium? Halp plz? Sharp
There is no way I know of to get around the activation of Windows 7, it's still new, and i havn't looked for back doors in even vista, last Windows i could get around completly was windows XP and i still put it on every computer i build. You can always download a OEM Windows 7.
GiantYoda
I'm currently using an OEM version of Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. Supposedly there's a sort of activation crack for it but I don't know how to find it.
Sharp
if it is truly OEM then you shouldnt have to activate it. OEM's are for mass use.
SESSH
I know this post is old, probably really old, but I myself have had a activator for both Vista(which i'm using now) and 7. The one for 7 you have to absolutely look for a certain update though, that will kill your activator, and make any activator useless. It exploits the fact that when 7 and vista were made, they used the exact same installer system with only minor tweaks separate of each other. And if you want a cheaper version of Vista or 7 buy the OEM versions. And yes, you do have to activate OEM versions, because I have had to with every re-install, with my OEM version I bought from Tiger Direct. But be aware, that you do not get any windows support from microsoft when using an OEM version. Said support has to be from the pc builder that you buy your pc from that installed the OEM. It's mainly for people who build pc's for other people. LIke large companies. You could also, just go and buy a license from Microsoft that is actually cheaper than buying a disk. Then you could theoretically download a Win 7 or Vista and use that key. I have also done this method and it works ok. On a side note, please make sure that when you do install said activators, make sure your key does not get corrupted, otherwise, you're screwed. And Windows will ignore that key forever.
