In my whole time on JA in the last 6 or so years I have never seen the point in modifying them, they never look much different to me, only ones that did were the Movie Battles sabers. and yus those second ones are a little glitched at the bottom, too big at the base so you see the saber... other than that I don't see much difference, but I'm better at discerning the difference between textures, models and images, maps and stuff than I am with the shape of a lightsaber... good luck with this though! On-topic: Modding the saber blades is an interesting idea, though I've never really noticed much difference, since blades tend to change subtley.
